In the early part of this decade, when the dot-com bubble burst, a lot of people thought that there was no more money to be made on the internet. People’s mistrust of all things technological along with the reputation of the internet being a breeding ground for scammers and spammers led everyone to believe that there was simply no more money out there to be had.
Apple proved us all wrong when they turned their website into the world’s largest music store, selling literally billions of songs, movies, and television shows. Amazon sells not only books, CDs, and DVDs, but baby clothes, vegetarian food, and car parts. There IS money to be made online.
Internet marketing money is out there for you if you know where to look for it.
- Selling products is not easy and often takes more work than it is worth. After you have sold the entire contents of your garage and closets, your “Ebay business” may run out of stock. It is almost always better to sell information, rather than products.
- The best internet marketing money is that which is regular and residual. You want a regular income, provided by people who buy your product or service each month, every month. If you can design an information product that requires no shipping that people will buy over and over again, then you are on the road to serious money!
- Internet marketing money is best when it is not subject to taxation. Cash is king, but Paypal is better! If you can run your business without Uncle Sam taking too huge of a chunk, then good for you!
Despite what others may tell you, it is not too late to start your own online business. There is plenty of income to be made if you work hard, establish a profitable market, and sell them what they want.
