Can An Online Business Review Make Me Successful?

William Bernbach once said, “Word of mouth is the best medium of all.” Along the online landscape, where advertising means nothing and scams are aplenty, word of mouth may well be the only true form of evaluation. After all, would you trust a business opportunity that prided itself on large advertisements, or one that was spoken of by a dear and trusted friend?
An online business review is one of the best ways to evaluate online business opportunities these days. Based on factual information and created by unpaid sources, they are used by many people to determine what opportunity they should join. An online business review is essentially technological word of mouth and, as such, invaluable to any growing company.
- If you want information about you, your company, or your product to be reviewed by an online business review, remember that you may not always get the best results. Be sure that you are confident in what you are doing before you allow someone else to evaluate it publicly.
- When submitting your information for review, give them all the information they need and more. Provide photographs, video, a biography, testimonies and anything else you can find to prove your case.
- Be prepared to answer questions and assist your reviewer in navigating your site or describing your product in detail. The more amenable you are, the better.
When you allow your product to be reviewed, you are putting yourself at risk. Much like a movie that submits an early copy to a magazine for review, you may get a review that prevents people from purchasing your product – so be prepared for that! However, if you are prepared and know both your product and your customer, then your review should come out ok and bring in even more customers!
